Butter Beer Smoothie

This is our favourite morning drink to accompany breakfast.

Its quick & easy to make in just a couple of minutes and you have a fibre rich gut healthy breakfast to start the day

*Disclaimer: This is not actually a beer and I promise I don’t give my children alcohol especially for breakfast

This is a picture of our classic favourite ‘Butter Beer Smoothie’…. banana, cashew butter, oats & milk of choice.   It takes about 2 minutes to prepare from scratch & I know they have had a nutritious drink to start the day

Serves - 2
Prep. Time - 5 mins
Cooking Time - 2 mins

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons oats
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tablespoon cashew butter
  • 1/2 a teaspoon of cinnamon
  • Add 350mls milk of choice or kefir for an extra probiotic boast

Method

  • Blitz in your blender until smooth and enjoy right away!
  • Best served in a butter beer tankard!
