5 Spice Salmon

A delicious sticky sweet & spicy dish the whole family will love, so why not spice up your Friday night fish?! I usually serve this with wok fried garlic green beans, broccoli in soy sauce & noodles with bean sprouts which can be easily whipped up whilst the salmon is baking

Ingredients

500gms wild salmon fillet
1-2 teaspoons Chinese 5 spice powder
4 tablespoons soy sauce
2 limes – juice & keep the halves
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon minced ginger
4 star anise

Method

A delicious sticky sweet & spicy dish the whole family will love, so why not spice up your Friday night fish?!
Mix all the marinade ingredients together and pour over the salmon in an oven proof dish.
Add the star anise & the squeezed lime halves to the pan too for extra flavour
Cook at 180’ for 20-25 minutes
Serve with wok fried garlic green beans, broccoli in soy sauce & noodles with bean sprouts which can be easily whipped up whilst the salmon is baking!
